Here's an update!
Thursday the 23rd.(Day 33): Ok so I have developed a very bad habit of ALWAYS forgetting my camera when we go to the beach so for all anyone knows I could really be living in the remote mountains of NC or something. I was determined that when we went to the beach this time I was going to remember our camera and I did...but apparently you have to have a memory card for the pictures to get saved...DRATS!!!Anyways, Nate got off early this day and we decided to go to the beach and snorkle. The normal beach we go to had a NO SWIMMING sign up so we proceeded to go down the beach until we found a place to swim. We finally found a Beach Park and parked and started to the beach. The waves were HUGE and so much fun. We couldn't snorkle bc the waves were stirring up the sand to much on the bottom so we just spent about 3 hours "body surfing". Apparently a couple of people had already been sent to the hospital at the beach we were at bc of the roughness of the waves. They were even doing PA warnings to not be in the water if you weren't a strong swimmer. All that said we had a BLAST! I of course have no pics to show of it so we might just have to head back out soon. It's getting to be surf season here so it's going to become packed and the water is going to become rougher. Well, after we got back to the house I had some mail waiting on me...my bicycle license. Apparently here they take biking really seriously so this is my new license ;).
Friday the 24th (Day 34): Nate had to go back to his class to get his certificate of completing his training course and guess what? He got the top honor is his class. He had gotten 100's on all of his tests so therefore he was the honor student and was recognised with a special coin. I am so proud of him! When he got home he took me to get some craft supplies I needed to complete a shelf project I am working on. That was about it for Friday.
Saturday the 25th (Day 35): We have spent today being lazy and just working on the house. I finally completed a shelf project I've been working on. We had steak and homeade potato chips for supper = so good! I think we are going to start our Back to the Future marathon soon. Every time it comes on television we miss it so we bought our own copies and now we are going to have our own marathon ;). I hope everyone is well and I will update again soon...hopefully with pics of the beach ;).
This is my shelf project:
-painted it white
added stripes
made it into a flag
again
Hung it in the Laundry room to hold our beach and snorkle bag!

A little off...
Ok well I'm getting behind on these frequent updates so again I will have to play a little bit of catch up:
Friday the 18th (Day 27): We attended the Hail and Farewell. It was nice to meet some of the people Nate will be working with. I also got another lei it was like my last one...very pretty.
Saturday the 19th (Day 28): We just stayed in and watched movies and had a lazy day. I made Beef stir fry for dinner which was really good and very easy to make.
Sunday the 20th (Day 29): We went to our neighbors bbq/birthday party for their son Henry. We had a lot of fun meeting a lot of new people and eating a lot of really good food. I brought potato skins, which I have never made before. The potato skins turned out really good and I def. going to make them again. I forgot to take a picture of the skins and there weren't any left at the end :). Afterwards we went for a Frappe, which is my new addiction...they are SO flippen good.
Monday the 21st (Day 30): I had to mail some packages so Mrs. Shelia helped me get to the post office and figure out how to mail shoes ;). Then Nate and I just spent another night with the puppies.
Tuesday the 22nd (Day 31): I spent the day with Mrs. Shelia she is helping me with my resume. Apparently the Army wants a different resume than the outside world so I was working on that. I am getting ready for when Nate deploys to find a job to keep myself busy and not worrying all the time. I might just go ahead and get one bc then I will already be in the swing of things when he leaves. I was so off this day to. I was washing clothes with no detergent and just a floppy day so I decided I just wanted to go out for dinner so we asked the Scotts if they would like to go out with us. We all wen to Pizza Bob's down in North Shore. It was really good and we had a fun time. We got home and played tug o war with the puppies and watched GLEE ;).
Wendesday the 23rd...today (Day 32): Mrs. Shelia asked if I would watch her daughter Cordelia while she took Andrew, her son, to the orthodontists. This girl is so fun so of course I agreed. While I was watching her her friends came over to play so I spent an hour or so with 3 little girls coloring, watchign cartoons, and playing Polly Pocket. When I left they all drew me hearts and gave them to me :)...kids are so sweet!
Well that is all for now hopefully I will get better at this updating thing.

short but sweet!
Tuesday the 14th (Day 25): I was feelin so much better from my previous sick day. My wonderful husband surprised me with flowers. He is so thoughtful. He also went and got us Season 3 of Big Bang Theory and Season 2 of Fringe and he surprised me with Glee ;). I made a Beef Enchilada (sp.) casserole for supper. That is about it, nothing too exciting.
Wednesday the 15th (Day 26): I went shopping for flowers. I love flowers they can add so much to a home. I went a little crazy, but this will be our home for the next couple of years and now it feels like home. Of course the puppies just relaxed all day ;). I love my lazy doggies!
Tonight we are going to a Hail and Farwell so that should be fun. Nate and I get welcomed into the company tonight. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. Well, that is all for now.

Massive update...
Ok we FINALLY have internet so I guess it is time for an update from the last 2 weeks...here we go:
Saturday the 4th (Day14): We had our new washer and dryer delivered, which made me oh so happy ;). We then went to the beach at North Shore with some friends and had a BLAST!!! We decided we def. needed to get some snorkle gear. I am too use to living in places with mucky water and so going to the beach I was like wow you can see EVERYTHING on the bottom. It was amazing! Afterwards we went out to eat and then back home to finish some unpacking.
Sunday the 5th (Day 15): We had to do some shopping. We picked up our snorkling gear and some stuff to help keep Baxter from escaping from the backyard. Nothing much happened this day. We also found out that our new washer didn't work so they replaced it for FREE!!! So we have a brand new washer for only $397 when it should have been $960. God is good!!!
Monday the 6th (Day 16): Happy Labor Day!!! We went to a cookout at the Scott's house. It was really nice with really amazing food and company. Nate finished the fence at our house too so that was exciting.
Tuesday the 7th (Day 17): I woke up early and went to the gym with Mrs. Shelia we worked out a couple of hours then I went back home to work on getting some things hung up on the walls. When Nate came home we went to buy me a bike ;) I love riding bikes! We also explored Mililani and found the fun shopping center that also has a really nice movie theater. The dogs are loving it here. They love ot sun bathe ;).
Wednesday the 8th (Day 18): I went to workout again with Mrs. Shelia and then back home to get more things organized ;). Nate and I went to buy helmets so we could actually ride our bikes. We also have out grown our dvd storage container so we had to buy another one.
Thursday the 9th (Day 19): Hung out at home. We recieved our first piece of mail from Grandparents Balough. It was so fun to get mail in HI ;). We love hearing from our friends and families.
Friday the 10th (Day 20): We had date night!!! We went to Chili's for dinner then went to see Resident Evil:After Life. It was ok def. an in between movie. I love this series and I was just happy that there are more of them ;). I love taking pics of the puppies so you will see a lot of them in the daily pics.
Saturday the 11th (Day 21): We went to the beach. Nate got to go surfing with one of his friends. He said he had a blast which is good bc now he can teach me ;). I of course got burnt really bad but sitting on the beach reading a book just enjoying myself is such a wonderful thing ;). After we got back from the beach I went with Mrs. Shelia to go get a Mani/Pedi which was my first time EVER and I love it oh so much!!!
Sunday the 12th (Day 22): We just finished up some things around the house.
(yeah Nate is the top one with the tan I'm the bottom one with the burn...boo)
Monday the 13th (Day 23): I finally made my necklace holder. I wasn't feeling well all day. I went to Mrs. Shelia's to use the internet and I got sick over there. Nate luckily got out of his class early so he came to pick me up. I made it to our front door and our neighbor stopped us but I had to book it to the bathroom before I threw up in front of her. I think I got food poisoning from something I ate.
(my necklace holders. you just add push pins and hang!)
Tuesday the 14th (Day 24): I am feeling better than yesterday, still not 100% but anything is better than yesterday. The Crazy Life...that I LOVE!!!
OK so there is a lot to play catch up with so I will try to make it all short and to the point (yeah right)...
On Tuesday we moved into our new house for the next 2 years ;). We then went grocery shopping to stock up our frig. We only spent about $200 which is way less that I thought for HI so that was amazing. Food really is not that much more expensive, which is a huge blessing. The only items I have found to be more expensive are milk and eggs. In some cases the food is actually cheaper ;). We decided to go to North Shore that night to get something to eat. It was amazing down there. We actually got to see a casting call for the new t.v. series Hawaii 5-0...craziness! We then ate amazing food and of course I ended up forgetting my purse. We had to go all the way back and grab it but of course we weren't complaining about going back to the beach. That was about it for Tues.
Wednesday all of our stuff showed up which made me REALLY excited. We had almost the whole house unpacked by the afternoon. I can't stand boxes and clutter so you won't get pics until the house is all unpacked and cleaned ;). We had to go to Lowe's (one of my favorite stores) to pick up some supplies to puppy proof the back yard. I love looking around Lowe's and this night I was glad for my browsing. I found the washer and dryer that we had been debating about now for 1/2 of what it was the last time. It had been returned bc for some reason it wasn't spinning right. Lowe's had fixed it and everything was working again so we could get a $900 washer for only $397 I was like heck yes!!! It was the exact washer and dryer we had wanted. We found the dryer but it was $800 and something and I really didn't want to pay that for a dryer but then I saw that they had a sale that took 20% off then we get a military discount for 10% more off so we decided it was too good to pass up and we bought them ;). God def. blessed us big time. If we hadn't waited we would have just gotten the cheapest ones but for only like $200 more we now have our dream washer and dryer lol. Anyway that was about it for that night.
(empty boxes)
Thursday we ran to post to pick up somethings and just to look around. I was able to try another HI dish named Poke. I was so good. Basically it is just raw fish seasoned and served with rice. We then just went home and finished decorating.
(poke)
Friday was puppy day. They needed some love after the move and all the chaos of unpacking so we spent all day with them except for one or two little projects.
(picture project I finished)
Today, Nate had a draft and then we are off the the beach ;). We are excited since this is our first really trip to a HI beach. Monday we are having a cookout at the Scotts for Labor Day.
Well, that about sums it up I will update this post again soon with pictures (Nate has the pic computer right now). Write again soon!
