Well, it is almost Thanksgiving and I am just reflecting on all I have to be thankful for in my life. I thought I would just list a few:
1. A forgiving and gracious God who has given me all the things I am thankful for.
2. A husband I am so proud to call mine. He is so selfless and I respect him so much for his willingness to serve and fight for our freedom. He makes me oh so happy.
3. My family. I will miss them a lot this holiday season but I know they won't forget me :).
4. Nate's family (all of them, and there is a lot). They have adopted me into their lives and never fail to make me feel welcomed or included in all of their lives.
5. My friends on the mainland, you know who you are (too many to list)...for all of your support through the years and for those especially that make a point to keep in touch even though we are far away right now. We miss you guys like CRAZY!!!
6. For our Hawaii friends and family that have made the transition so much easier.
7. For a place to go on Thanksgiving.
8. For my puppies who keep me company ;)
I am thankful for so much more but these are the biggies. Nate and I just to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We love you!

So much for that...
Well, as you can see I have totally neglected this blog thingy. I have been very busy these last couple weeks and have realized it will be near impossible for me to keep up with the picture a day. I am still going to post pics but it was getting harder and harder to remember when I took each picture so I will just post pictures and label them rather than worry about what day I took them and so on ;).
I am so blessed to be busy! I love having stuff to do. I went to my coffee group this past Sunday and I had a blast. I am really feeling like this is home now. While there they announced they needed a new treasurer and so of course I was like I will do it. I am now the treasurer of our coffee group. It is really only a once a month thing so I won't be to busy with that. I had so much fun getting to know the ladies and doing crafts. I am looking forward to our next meeting in December.
On the FRG front, I am planning some fundraisers for the upcoming months. I also am planning a family FRG day coming up in January while the soldiers are deployed.
The holidays are around the corner and I am looking forward to Nate getting some time off. We are celebrating Thanksgiving with the Scotts, so that will be fun. I know I will miss my family this Christmas since it will be the 1st Christmas in 25years that I haven't celebrated with them. It will also be the first time in 4 yrs we haven't celebrated New Year's with Nate's Mom (Momma K). I am looking forward to spending my 3rd Christmas with my hubby and starting new traditions. Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday EVER! We are still trying to figure out what we are going to do for our anniversary. I mean hello we are in Hawaii what more could you want for an anniversary?
Nate heads out in January for a month "deployment" to California. That will be crazy, but I think I can handle it I mean I am a military wife ;). Nate's mom will be coming to visit in Feb. so that will be nice to have some familiar faces around. My mother, nana and uncle are going to be coming around June after Nate deploys.
Well, that is all for now peeps I will hopefully message again soon. Miss you all! Aloha!

Well, hello all. I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to update. No real reason just being lazy. Not a whole lot has been going on. We had our first FRG Halloween Part on Friday and I think it went really well. We had a great turnout. I am excited to get into the full swing of being an FRG leader. We have a couple meetings coming up and I have a couple plans for some events in the next couple of months.
Nate leaves for NTC in January which means a month by myself...boo, but it all comes with the job. I will have to plan some stuff to do to keep myself occupied.
Hopefully Momma K will be coming to visit us in Feb/March. I am very excited to get our first visitor here in Hawaii. My mom and grandmother will be coming later next year during the summer. I am trying to plan a trip sometime next fall to come home and visit everyone. I hate riding in planes all day but it will be good to come home for a while. Nate and I have decided to extend our stay in Hawaii so he can go to a couple of schools before heading to finance. He would like to go to Ranger school and Pathfinder school so we are hoping that he is able to get into them.
Well, we had a good Halloween. Nate cooked steaks and baked potatoes and then he made a pumpkin pie. That morning we went to church and were reminded about faith and how faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. I have been feeling like I have a couple "mountain ranges" in my way lately and being reminded that I can move mountains was def. a big encouragement.
Nate had been working late for the last couple of days so that means more time with my puppies and watching whatever I want on t.v. ;).
Well, that is about it for now. I will try to update again soon!
